A health app created by Canterbury and Coastal clinical commissioning group (CCG) has had more than 10,000 hits in the first three months.
The app suggests appropriate local health services in the local area when patients type in their symptoms and location.
Visitors are spending three minutes and 47 seconds on the site on average, which the CCG believes suggests people are looking at the advice.

The app lists common symptoms and offers suggestions for treatment. If you need a pharmacist, for example, it will work out the nearest one to you which is open and give directions.
A more advanced interactive version which allows personal information to be recorded is also being developed for smartphones.
Dr Mark Jones, chair of Canterbury and Coastal Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “I’m pleased that so many people have been using the app and I hope they will help us to spread the word.
"It’s simple to use, and in just a few clicks of a button, users are able to find the most suitable healthcare service for their needs. Around 40 per cent of people who attend A&E leave without any treatment. We hope that the app will play a part in reducing the number of unnecessary trips to A&E.”
In February Doncaster CCG revealed a patient signposting app which had been designed by students from the local college.
