Bury clinical commissioning group (CCG) has launched a service for people who are interested in improving NHS services.
The new online tool is to enable local people to say how they would like to get involved with CCG work, and which areas they are most interested in hearing about.
Ways that people can get involved include:
 – Attending meetings and events about local health services.
 – Taking part in online surveys or focus groups to tell us their feedback or opinions.

 – Keeping up to date with the CCG’s work.
Dr Kiran Patel, chairman and clinical lead for Bury CCG, said: “Local people have a key role to play in helping to shape local health services. There are lots of ways people can get involved, give us their views and tell us what is important to them.  Together we can improve health services now and in the future.
“I would encourage Bury residents to spend a few minutes of their time completing the online form, which asks them about their specific health interests and the ways they’d like to be contacted by the CCG.  Once signed up, we can then send you information about the health topics and events you are really interested in.”
People can express an interest in finding out more about the CCG’s work by completing a simple online form which can be accessed online.
The website form includes questions about which areas of CCG work you are most interested in and how you would like to get involved so that you only hear about the things you are interested in.
