NHS integrated care boards work to improve outcomes, tackle inequalities and provide value for money in Integrated Care Systems.

Following changes in 2025, ICBs have had to make cuts to their systems and many have clustered with a view to merging.

Read on for the latest in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West, which is clustered with Frimley and set to become a new ICB called Thames Valley; Hampshire and Isle of Wight, which is ‘aligned’ with North East Hampshire area from Frimley; Kent and Medway; and Surrey Heartlands which is clustered with Sussex ICB and Surrey Heath, Ash and Farnham areas from Frimley.
