Resources to help GPs prepare for revalidation have been released by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).
Including example portfolios, toolkits and a Q&A, the resources are designed to make revalidation a “positive and rewarding experience” for GPs.
The example portfolios cover out of hours GPs, GPs with special interests as well as academic GPs.
The five toolkits cover:
• quality improvement

• significant event audits
• impact credits
Prof. Nigel Sparrow, RCGP revalidation lead said: ‘I am confident that these excellent additional resources will make revalidation as supportive and stress-free as possible for all our members and any GPs going through revalidation.”
There are plans to add continuously to the resources, which are available for all RCGP members.
