Delegates will explore how to cut through the complexities of GP, community pharmacy, PCN and neighbourhood contracts during one of the must-see sessions at the inaugural Community Pharmacy and General Practice Conference.

The outline agenda for the conference has been released, offering the first detailed look at the sessions that will shape two days of collaboration across primary care.

Taking place at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham on 21–22 June 2026, the free CPD-accredited event is delivered in partnership with Healthcare Leader and the National Pharmacy Association.

The conference will bring together community pharmacists, GPs, nurses, practice managers, PCN leaders and ICB representatives to focus on practical neighbourhood delivery.

It is a structured two-day programme featuring practical, case-based sessions across three rooms, grouped around five core conference streams: collaboration in action; business and service innovation; leadership and workforce; technology and AI for integration; and clinical skills booster.

Each day will open with a full-audience plenary session. Day one is Team primary care: uniting general practice and community pharmacy, and day two is Neighbourhood first: how, together, general practice and community pharmacy can transform primary care.

The agenda is designed to share practical, case-based learning to help drive stronger collaboration between general practice and community pharmacy.

Day one highlights include sessions on developing integrated care pathways across primary care and creating digital neighbourhoods.

And highlights on day two include making sense of primary care contracts: working together without treading on toes and redesigning access through total triage.

The programme also includes the National Pharmacy Association members’ forum, GP pharmacy in focus with the Primary Care Pharmacy Association, a dedicated networking zone running across both days, and an evening drinks reception to facilitate cross-sector connection.

Worth 10 CPD points, the conference is free to attend and aims to provide implementable insights for primary care professionals navigating rising demand, workforce pressures, and neighbourhood reform.

Further speaker announcements will follow in the coming weeks as the programme is finalised.
