One CCG has launched a new website to direct patients on how to access local services.
Following patient criticism, West Suffolk CCG has created a website which provides easy access to information on local NHS services, as well as how they can be involved with the aims of the organisation.
The CCG help a series of forums earlier this year, meeting with GPs and medical staff to add to the public’s views and form a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment in partnership with the local council.

A second meeting is due for 26 September 2013.
David Cripps, practice managers and CCG governing body member said: “[We] are committed to listening and responding to what patients are saying and using that feedback to further improve local healthcare services.
“Importantly, the website has been created with input from local people to ensure it is easy to use and navigate and provides the information people need.”
The website will also include the latest health news, details of local events, board papers and strategy documents as well as healthy living advice.
