Mid and South Essex ICB is inviting the public to contribute to the development of its Shared Care Record.

The ICB has launched a survey to determine its population’s ‘experiences, concerns, and ideas’ when shaping the service.

Shared care records are intended to combine patient information from health and care records held by different services, including primary and secondary care.

It said: ‘The Shared Care Record will bring together important information from health and care records held by different services into one place. It will mean that whether your visiting your GP, in hospital, or receiving social care, the professionals caring for you will have access to a more complete, up-to-date picture of your health and care history. This could make all the difference in how quickly and effectively you’re treated.’
